About us

Battle Born Discs was an idea that was inspired- ironically - during the pandemic. The quarantine allowed me the opportunity to really get into the sport of disc golf. I was blessed with the opportunity to travel with my family, and play some fantastic courses. These trips allowed me to introduce my daughters to the sport, so when we were trying to come up with a name for our new business, it was my middle daughter who brought up the name Battle Born Discs. My wife and daughters were all born in Nevada, so it was a perfect fit.

Elizabeth, my middle daughter who named the business, has Cystic Fibrosis - a genetic disease. The awareness color for Cystic Fibrosis (CF for short) is purple so that is the meaning behind all of the purple in our logo and website. CF is a chronic disease, and we dedicate a lot of our time to fundraising for a cure. We’ve made it a part of our mission to promote awareness through some of our products, and provide back to the CF community through fundraising efforts. We won’t  stop fighting until the CF stands for Cure Found!!!

We have not only partnered together with companies that will be providing the discs for us, but we have also partnered with a couple of clothing companies (Neon Black Co. & Disc Puns) who will be linked on the site. Make sure and get all of your personal Battle Born Discs gear there too!
